What an honor our Cultures Class had today to host WHS Distinguished Alumni member of the class of 2023, Sarah Barber. Thank you Sarah for your willingness to give back to our students!


Robotics Club speaking at the Wapakoneta Area Community Foundation Community Fund Grant Awards banquet. They received a grant for $2,500.


Hunter Seward, a seventh grader, is kind hearted and polite to staff and students. Hunter completes his assignments with 100% effort.

Next week, our 8th grade students will be participating in the Lifelines Prevention curriculum which is an evidence based suicide prevention program. The main objective of this four lesson program is to encourage students to identify trusted adults to discuss concerns about themselves or their friends. A letter containing more information was sent home with your student. If you have questions regarding the program, please let us know.

Congratulations to Reyna Woodruff and Alex Honigford for being awarded the Blackburn Scholarship. Reyna plans to attend Purdue University. Alex plans to attend Ohio State University. WHS Octagon Club is hosting a Movie event on Monday, April 10th at the Wapa Theatre. The event is an effort to support local pet rescue. The club is fortunate to be able to offer the new release of The Super Mario Bros Movie. We hope you can join us!
