FOOTBALL SCHEDULE: Attention to any student interested in playing football this year: Weight Lifting will begin on Tuesday, January 3rd from 3-5 p.m. We will begin in the cafeteria. Please have your workout clothes and tennis shoes with you! Lifting will be on Monday and Wednesday from 5:55 a.m-7:20 a.m. and Tuesdays & Thursdays from 3-5 p.m. Lifting on Friday will be at 5:55 a.m. if we miss a Monday-Thursday workout. Lifting will be cancelled if school is cancelled for inclement weather. If we're on a 2 hour delay for inclement weather morning lifting will begin @ 7:55 a.m.

Ethan is a kindhearted kid who works hard both in school and out of school at his job at McDonald's . He is always super polite and willing to go out of his way to help out in any way he can! Thank you, Ethan, for being a positive role model and thank you for being a Redskin.

The WHS French Club helped First United Methodist Church and Auglaize County Job and Family Services collect toys and clothes for children this Christmas! Thank you to our kids and their advisors for getting involved in community service and wanting to help others.

Mr. Elchert’s Phys Ed classes enjoyed a great week of playing Pickleball. Thank you to the volunteers who came in to work with our students.

Wapakoneta High School Picture Retake/Makeup Day will be Friday, October 14th. Make sure to return your picture package for retakes. Additional order forms are in the main office if needed. Bring your smiles!

Reminder to Wapakoneta Apollo Seniors: Herff Jones will be at Apollo Wednesday, October 12th to pass out senior graduation information.

Look at what Senior Andrew Mosler has designed using the engineering laser cutter! He used skills from his engineering classes to design and manufacture the awards for the upcoming Spikeball tournament put on by Students Against Human Trafficking. The tournament is a fundraiser for Operation Underground Railroad.

8th grade students in Mr. Rambin’s class are currently building and learning about mechanisms and how machines move and work.





When school ends at the high school at 2:43 the fun doesn’t stop. We have over 30 kids stay and compete in E-sports. It’s really awesome to be able to provide this great opportunity for our kids.


High School picture retakes will take place on Friday, October 14.

Girl Scout Troop 20060 will be collecting new or used/gently worn shoes. Any size, any style, PAIRS only!

WHERE: Wapakoneta Elementary School parking lot . Drive thru and they will unload your car!
There is also a box in the Wapak High School main hallway for donations.

Mr. Pepple’s CCP Physics class are completing a bottle rocket lab. The students have a target they need to hit. Through trial and error they make adjustments to try and hit the target. Lots of fun!
