In 2019, Reyna Woodruff was published in the Power of the Pen Book of Winners in the Best of the Best section. Writing remains one of my main passions, specifically because she would like to do what other authors have done for her. Reyna explains, "Reading is my way to escape from the real world for a short amount of time, and it is one of my main goals to be able to create a world of fantasy for someone else to get lost in, and maybe help them through their own hardships. Due to this, I hope to eventually write a book of my own, and get it published sometime during my life. While being an author will not be my main career, I plan on pursuing it as a side business, and writing books along with my other career." We are so proud of Reyna and how she "uses her words". Please take a moment to read one of her more recent selections in the image on this post. We think it really exemplifies how to #bebetter.

WHS alumnus John Doll took time out of his schedule to talk with our engineering students about his experiences at college. It is always great when former students come back and share with our current students.

The Wapakoneta students had a wonderful time at the Edgar Rene Spanish Concert! Edgar was nominated for a Latin Grammy and instead of going to Las Vegas for the awards last night, he chose to keep his commitment and come to Wapakoneta!
