As you are aware, a Solar Eclipse will be taking place on April 8 this year. We are expecting a great deal of visitors and traffic in Wapakoneta, and the surrounding area.
The path of the eclipse passes over our community in the early afternoon near our dismissal time. Due to this we will not be having school that day. Our teachers will be planning learning activities that involve the eclipse and will share these with our young people as the date approaches.
Our goal is for the kids to experience the eclipse, provide fun/meaningful learning activities, and to keep them at home and away from the congestion.
The district has been in communication with other school districts and the local agencies to make sure we are all on the same page when it comes to planning for April 8.

8th Grade Yearbook sales run now until February 29th. All 8th grade students should have received information in RR with a code to order your yearbook. All orders are done through Lange Photographics.

Semester exams will be December 18th & 19th for the Wapakoneta High School. These days will be Open Campus. You only have to be here when you have an exam. Please refer to your bell schedule for the exam schedule.
