Speakers came from the Mercer County Library to speak to sixth grade students about minerals and rocks. They are part of a program, through the library, that houses the Langsdon Mineral Collection of more than 900 minerals that was donated by Ron and Ruth Langsdon. The Langsdons hoped that their collection would allow future generations to learn and enjoy. The presenters, Tony and Sandy, have created an engaging program that fits perfectly with the sixth grade standards. The students look forward to this presentation every year.
